Yes people, I am sick of deviants that harass those who trace or steal. If you harass anyone instead of reporting them, then it's a good chance that your account(s) will be suspended. So for those who do constantly harass others, even insult them while they're not looking, you're going to get sacked. So if you see anything traced or taken without permission, don't harass & be a right bitch because nobody appreciates it & it's immature. So do everyone a favor & click on the Report Policy Violation or contact the Help Desk
*laughs to self* Now it makes sense. TRACE, AMELIA- what does it USUALLY mean! *guffaws* Nah, I thought you meant something like untracing it back to the original owner and deleting certain bits... Kind of like heavily referencing except a little worse, yeno?
Tracing seems to be a way that lots of people learn to draw.
If you are tracing and admit you're tracing, and show the link to the picture, and change enough about the drawing that makes it your own, then you shouldn't be boiled in oil.
As long as you give credit for WHERE you traced the image from, admit that you traced it, and don't try to claim it as yours, then things should be ok. Also, many people who trace are mainly having fun.
Those that think tracing is wrong can find a civilized way to let someone know how to properly credit where they traced something from.

Basically they sell tracing paper in art stores, which is thin enough to see through. And often times people can use it to lay over top of an image and trace the lines through the paper.
I've seen lots of kids do this. And they're mainly doing it out of admiration for a picture they like.
Sometimes artists trace their own work so they can duplicate it on another piece of their work. I've also seen people trace a pose, then color it in and change a lot of it mainly because they needed the pose and it's hard for them to draw it.
